We visited many places, and the pushiness, hyper-focus on budget was off-putting. Working with Angela was refreshing. It was clear to us that both Angela and her husband are really passionate about their work. I was partially involved in the process and provided input as to my style, fit and the types of gemstones I liked, but the final decision was left with my fiancé. Angela and her husband made us the most beautiful wedding bands. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted for my wedding band, but Angela showed me options and helped me decide on a design for a gorgeous sapphire and diamond wedding band. I had Linara make a custom wedding band and engagement ring and working with them was great. Angela was very helpful initially with providing options for the ring which I hadn't considered or was even aware of. Production was also fast from start to finish. Overall, the service was great and at a very reasonable price.I think it speaks volumes that, unlike some other custom jewelers in the city, Linara will use customer provided gemstones in your ring (although in hindsight, it would have been more cost-effective to work through Linara to purchase those gemstones). To me this signals a commitment to customer service, whereas other jewelers who insist on their own stones at a mark-up signal to me a commitment to greed.All in all a good experience.

After shopping around at a few other places, we settled on Linara for a custom engagement ring. Angelika and Sergey were incredible to work with. They took the time to understand our requirements and provide guidance where appropriate; while we had something very specific in mind, they helped elevate the design greatly. They sourced a beautiful stone for our engagement ring, timely and within budget. We had chosen to have a blue sapphire as a centre stone; sapphires aren't as common and readily available on the market as diamonds, but Angelika was able to show us a number of sapphires to choose from. They were very responsive by email and phone, and took the time to meet with us multiple times throughout the process, in order to discuss design and to view stones. They were always very warm and welcoming.We couldn't have hoped for a better experience or outcome. They helped make the process completely stress free. We highly recommend them!

I would like to start my review with how great the communication was. I found a few custom made jewellery shops in Toronto to compare prices for the earrings.
